Collingwood: Couple arrested after two months on the run

A couple has been arrested in Collingwood after evading police for nearly two months. 

Tim Miftari, 30, and Amanda Clymo, 25, failed to front Broadmeadows Magistrates Court in November last year.

The duo was arrested on Thursday and remanded in custody.

Ms Clymo, from Pascoe Vale, has been charged with 140 counts of deception and drug possession.

Mr Miftari, from Spotswood, has been charged with trafficking methamphetamines, deception and evading police during a pursuit.

Ms Clymo is due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday, while Mr Miftari is due to face court on February 4.
