Acoustic therapy
Music therapy student and musician Laurel Parkinson has taken up a Sunday residency at Williamstown’s Customs House Hotel. From Sunday, February 1, she will play acoustic sets from 2-5pm. Pier to Plate
Seaworks at Williamstown will host the first Pier to Plate, a celebration of delicious seafood on Hobsons Bay’s doorstep on February 28 as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Participating kitchens include MoVida, Hellenic Republic and Ragusa. Tickets are available at:

Aero Speakers Toastmasters Club meets on the first and third Thursday of the month from 7pm at Laverton Community Hub, Railway Avenue, Laverton. Are you a young parent aged 16 to 25 wanting to meet other young parents in your local area? Free groups meet in Laverton on Mondays from 10am-11.30am, Altona Meadows on Mondays from 1pm-2.30pm, and Sunshine on Fridays from 12.30-2.30pm. Bring your children and meet other young parents. The groups organise fun activities for the kids and go on outings.

Bingo bonanza
Laverton Bowling Club is holding bingo on Wednesday nights with “eyes down” from 8pm. Bingo books cost $7 for a set for 35 games, with the last game at 10pm paying $500 each week.
Dog agility
Get some exercise and have fun with your dog. The Agility Dog Club of Victoria trains on Friday nights under lights at WLJ Crofts Reserve, Blackshaws Road, Altona North. All breeds of dog and age groups are welcome.
