Maribyrnong mayor Nam Quach is flanked by Aiko Montecarlo and Kiarah Angelique during Saturday night’s crowning of Miss Gay & Miss Transsexual Australia at the “pageant to end all pageants” at the Yarraville Club.
The pageant works to improve understanding and acceptance of the transgender community, crowning winners who can carry the torch of equality and trans advocacy.
Charity Steal was crowned Miss Gay Australia and J-O Rojas won the Miss Transsexual Australia title.
