There’s plenty of fun for families at Palm Lake Resort and lots of scope for quality time with loved ones.
Tony and Sylvia moved into Palm Lake Resort Truganina about 17 months ago.
“We looked at other villages before purchasing, but nothing was as good as here,” Sylvia said.
“We were sold on the village. Houses are separate and on separate blocks, and the facilities are great.”
Both Tony and Sylvia work part-time and enjoy activities such as bowling, swimming in the resort pool, gym workouts, aqua aerobics, line dancing and mini-golf.
They also enjoy the monthly dinner night at the bowls club and resident dinners.
Recently, Palm Lake Resort Truganina held its grandparents’ day.
Sylvia attended with six grandkids – all had their faces painted and enjoyed movies and a magician.
“The hall was filled with so much laughter and fun,” she said.
“The kids enjoyed the lunch put on by the resort … I really enjoyed this special time with my grandkids.”
When buying into Palm Lake Resort, there are no entry fees and no stamp duty.
A low, fortnightly site fee covers all council rates, garbage disposal and standard water usage.
That means there are no rates to pay and unlimited use of all the facilities the resort has to offer.
House prices start at $319,000 and residents get to keep 100 per cent of their capital
gains.
