Holiday options galore
Highpoint will be a hive of activity in the lead-up to the Easter school holidays. Highpoint Shopping Day on Thursday offers activities for kids, a “lad’s lounge” and a perfume pop-up bar. From next Monday, there will be Easter bunny decorating while Crayola will host a colourful workshop in the second week of holidays. Highpoint has launched an online app that takes the stress out of styling new season trends. Called Unlock Your Style, the app lets you choose from more than 200 pieces curated by Highpoint style director Kate Gaskin.
Car torque
Hobsons Bay Men’s Shed Motoring Group will display member cars and talk the torque at a meet at the Pines Scout Camp, 1 Altona Road, Altona, from 10am-3pm on April5. The event is free to the public. Bring and show your classic or custom car or motorbike and enjoy a sausage sizzle.

Concert band vacancies
The Western Region Concert Band rehearses from 9am on Saturdays at Errington Community Centre, Princess Street, St Albans. Entry via side gate next to the football oval. Vacancies exist for percussion, brass and sax players. Come along, bring your instrument and enjoy playing with us.

Singing for little monkeys
Singing workshops for children aged 3-6 will be hosted by world renowned children’s entertainers the Mudcakes at Williamstown Yoga Centre at 11.15am and 1pm on April 7. Kids $15, adults free, places limited and bookings essential.
Blue Light disco
The Williamstown Blue Light Disco for young people aged 8 to 15 is held on the third Friday of the month (except school and public holidays) from 7.30-9.30pm at Newport Baptist Church hall, 26 Mason Street, Newport. Entry now costs $7 because of higher insurance costs.
