Wheely keen to help

Two Yarraville girls will join thousands of cyclists next month in the ninth annual MS Melbourne Cycle.

Aged just 10, Lily and Lulu (pictured) are the youngest participants so far signed
up for the April 19 ride, which will raise funds for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), the most common neurological condition in young adults.

Lily’s mother Rebecca says the girls are determined to help meet the $750,000 fund- raising target. Both the 30-kilometre and 50- kilometre courses start and finish at Princes Park in Carlton and will pass through the CBD, across the West Gate Bridge and via Yarraville and Footscray.

The 50-kilometre course also passes through Spotswood, Newport and Williamstown.
