It is one of the best vehicles for learning in early childhood.
Music helps children with literacy as they process sounds and words, moving and dancing helps develop motor skills, but it’s the sheer joy of jiggling and giggling which is most therapeutic for children and their carers.
Entertainers Julia Davis, Bridget a’Beckett, and Sharni Page have pooled their musical talents to form a concert group for under-fives.
Musical Sprouts’ performances will be held at the Bluestone Church Arts Space, 10A Hyde Street, Footscray, on Tuesday, April 21, at 10am and noon.
