Welcome return
After a five-year gap, four-man rock group Local Resident Failure returns to Melbourne on Friday at the Reverence Hotel. They’ll be supported by Bombs Are Falling, Postscript, Daybreak and Columbus (QLD). Entry: $10. On Saturday, The Ears will be supported by The Transitions, Traumaboys and Kollaps (also $10). The Revenants bring their blend of Celtic folk, punk, new wave and bluegrass to the front bar for a free show from 3pm.
Landmark classic
Radiohead devotees Siberian Banana Co will present their OK Computer Tribute Show at Bar of Bengal, 212a Whitehall Street, Yarraville, this Friday night. Siberian Banana Co pays tribute to the critically acclaimed landmark 1997 album by performing it live and in full, with special guests Steels Range; entry $5.

Filming of a new TV pilot hosted by Brian Nankervis and featuring special guests Greg Champion, Tracy Harvey, Danny Katz and Dean Frenkel starts at Footscray Community Arts Centre, 45 Moreland Street, at 3.30pm, Sundays April 26 and May 3.
