Two people have died in a horrific car crash in Braybrook.
Police say the car was headed west along Ballarat Road around midnight on Friday when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The car left the road and hit a tree, killing the driver, a man in his 20s, and a female passenger in her 20s.
The sole other occupant, a woman in her 20s, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision have been told that a white Honda was seen at the crash site before police arrived.
Police would like to speak to the occupants of the Honda or any other witnesses.
