Footscray resident Ethel Brkic has celebrated her 100th birthday with a special afternoon tea at Maribyrnong Town Hall.
Ethel, who still lives at home with care support from Maribyrnong council, was presented with letters from the Queen, the Prime Minister and the Premier as she marked the occasion with friends and family.
The secret to her longevity? “Plenty of boyfriends!”
