Tarneit Road perfume raid

Police are investigating after a smash and grab at a Tarneit Road pharmacy on Sunday, January 21. According to police, the offenders reversed a silver Camry sedan through the south entry door of the shop about 6am. Police said three people, all wearing masks and gloves, stole bottles of perfume from the store.

Point Cook school theft

Police have appealed for information following the theft of fence panels from a Point Cook school. Eleven dark-coloured metal fence panels were allegedly stolen from Featherbrook P-9 College between January 19 and January 23. Police believe at least two people and a vehicle were required for the theft.

Crushing event for hoons

Eight vehicles confiscated from hoon drivers were crushed last week. Police officers from Taskforce Regarder, which investigates illegal hoon gatherings, seized the cars at hoon meetings held in Melbourne’s south-east between November, 2015, and January, 2016. Among the cars destroyed was a Nissan sedan, which belonged to a 23-year-old man Williams Landing man who was charged with reckless conduct endangering serious injury.
