Jezza hits Altona for new Challenge

Carlton legend Alex Jesaulenko (pictured) teed off at a charity golf golf tournament in Altona last week, helping Challenge raise money to support children with cancer.

He shared the course with TV stars John Orcsik from Cop Shop, Neighbours’ Aaron Jakubenko and actor Nathan Strauss. Golfers at Kooringal golf course wore ‘Leuk the Duck’ pins in support of Challenge ambassador Jarrod Lyle, who was recently re-diagnosed with cancer after beating the illness as a teenager 12 years ago.

Challenge runs a family centre and supports children undergoing hospital cancer treatment, providing them with iPads, gaming consoles,

internet access, family activities and celebrity visits.

A total $12,000 was raised on the golf day, which was organised by long-time Challenge fund-raiser Tony Barr.
