Mayor spreads the music

HOBSONS Bay’s 24 primary schools will each receive a music kit, while grade6 pupils have been invited to enter the Eco-Legend awards, both initiated under this year’s mayoral program.

Cr Tony Briffa last week allocated $5160 from his mayoral fund to provide kits containing a recorder, ukulele, percussion pack, guitar, glockenspiel and tambourine.

The new award invites children to write about their passion for the environment.
