Melbourne’s west is set to get more doctors thanks to $300,000 funding for a Newport medical centre. Federal Gellibrand MP Nicola Roxon yesterday opened the expanded clinic at 471 Melbourne Road.
“This funding has meant that Complete Family Care have completely modernised their operations, added two new doctors’ rooms and doubled the number of car parks for patients,” she said.
Centre manager Alma Elohoury said the clinic was looking to provide physiotherapy, chiropractic and diabetes service.
“We have four doctors and hopefully in the near future we’ll have a few more doctors.”
