Williamstown bounced back from its first loss of the season to beat Caulfield 10-8 in a tight tussle in the Lacrosse Victoria men’s state league at Fearon Reserve on Saturday. Matthew Price was the leading scorer for the Fearons with a hat-trick and an assist. Footscray drubbed Eltham 17-9 after three goals apiece to Luke Moore and Chris Plumb. Altona was beaten 16-3 on the road at Malvern.
