THE winning feeling was contagious for western suburbs teams on country weekend in the Lacrosse Victoria men’s state league.
Footscray won a high scoring battle 15-10 over MCC, Altona edged out Chadstone 12-10 and Williamstown was victorious in a 7-3 dogfight over Surrey Park.
In women’s state league, Newport got the better of Footscray with a 12-7 scoreline, while Williamstown was too strong for Eastside in a 10-3 drubbing.
