BRAYBROOK’S Churchill Avenue laneway will be given a dramatic makeover under the watchful eye of internationally renowned street artist Adnate.
Young participants in Melbourne Citymission’s ‘diversion diversity program’ have been taking part in practical workshops to learn the finer points of street art skills from Adnate. The Melbourne-born artist has been sharing the secrets of a street art style that draws on both graffiti lettering and fine-art portraits. Program co-ordinator Liam Bartlett said the project would transform the laneway.
The final artwork, a 28-metre piece along the western wall, will be created in one session from noon-6pm this Friday.
Mr Bartlett said the final pieces had been approved by the council and police.
