Footscray man hit by city tram in critical condition

A FOOTSCRAY man remains in a critical condition at The Alfred hospital after being struck by a tram.

At 8.20pm Wednesday night the man attempted to cross Flinders Street from Federation Square to St Paul’s Cathedral.

The man, aged in his late 20s, was struck by a west bound tram, sustaining life threatening head injuries.
