MARIBYRNONG will host a week-long celebration of the contribution refugees have made to the municipality during Refugee Week (June 17-23).
There will be a ceremonial banner raising at Footscray’s Town Hall offices on Monday, followed by a special screening of Falling for Sahara.
On Wednesday, the CALDplay football carnival will showcase football skills before a concert and shared dinner at Braybrook Community Centre on Thursday.
