Police are investigating a string of armed robberies, including a hold-up in Maribyrnong.
It is believed the same offenders are responsible for two similar robberies committed 20 minutes apart in Maribyrnong and Newport, and robberies in Port Melbourne, Blackburn North and Vermont South.
A supermarkets in Wests Street, Maribyrnong and one in Mason Street, Newport, were robbed between 12.30 and 12.50pm on
June 21.
