Affordability, open space the key

Buyers looking to build near parklands have the opportunity to do so at Gateway estate in Truganina where developer Central Equity is offering blocks next to a park precinct.

The precinct, Truganina Gardens, is “two acres of secluded, landscaped grounds featuring a playground and large grassed areas”, according to Central Equity Land marketing manager Jeremy Vile.

The estate is in Wyndham, one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Australia.

The community is ideal for families, with established primary and secondary schools nearby, as well as transport, shops and community infrastructure.

The Werribee train line and buses connect Truganina to Laverton, Hoppers Crossing and Werribee, while a new station is under

construction about one kilometre from the Gateway community.

Health services, including Werribee Mercy Hospital and medical centres at Wyndham Village, Laverton and Point Cook, are close at hand.

“Gateway is 19 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and has easy access to other key

employment areas via the Princess Highway, Western Ring Road and Westgate Freeway.

Family activities are also available near the estate.

“The Lawrie Emmins Reserve, an 80-hectare recreation area with an arts centre, archery amenities, cricket, softball and football fields, is within walking distance of the estate,” Mr Vile said.

Blocks range from 246-525 square metres, with land prices starting from $169,000.

“The park precinct at Gateway is expected to be a popular choice with buyers looking for an affordable house within easy reach of the city.”

Gateway is a project by Central Equity, winner of two industry awards for its Woodland Waters estate in Melbourne’s north.
