Chris and Amy were among the first residents to move to Riverwalk earlier this year — one of Werribee’s newest communities.
The estate is 1.5 kilometres from Werribee’s city centre and beside Werribee River.
Both commute to the city each week via the Princes Freeway which is a short drive from Riverwalk, or via train, with Werribee station just two kilometres away.
“People are choosing to live at Riverwalk because its location provides access to shops, restaurants and services,” says Place Victoria portfolio director Greenfields Ken Munro.
Construction on the $4million Village Park, due to open later next year, is scheduled to commence later this year.
“The centrepiece will be one of the largest water play parks in Melbourne featuring water jets and fountains,” Mr Munro added.
“When complete, the park will cover 16,000 square metres and will connect Riverwalk Town Centre to Werribee River.”
