WITH spring in the air there’s no better way to celebrate than at an old-fashioned fair.
The Little Lorikeet Steiner Preschool in Yarraville will be buzzing on October 13 when the annual spring fair returns to the Pilgrim Uniting Church.
Steiner program facilitator Karen Church says the fun begins at 10am with roving entertainers, wood-fired pizzas and live music along with stalls including handmade toys and gifts, coffee, organic food and fresh lemonade.
The fair is the preschool’s major fund-raiser for the year.
Ms Church says people have spent hours of work behind the scenes knitting, sewing, felting and creating beautiful pieces of work for the stalls.
