It’s not every day a real estate agency and charity team up for a national event to support women, but that’s exactly what they’re doing this month.
Jellis Craig will be displaying pink lady silhouettes at their auctions in support of Australia’s breast cancer awareness month.
The estate agency recently raised almost $47,000 for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) through the Run Melbourne event. The team is motivated to show its support to Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families.
BCNA chief executive Maxine Morand, who is a breast cancer survivor, said she greatly appreciated Jellis Craig’s ongoing support of the charity.
“BCNA’s pink lady silhouette is symbolic of our focus on women diagnosed with breast cancer and all those around her,” Ms Morand said.
“By displaying pink ladies at their auctions across Melbourne this October, Jellis Craig is reminding women with breast cancer that they are not alone as they face the challenges of treatment and long-term effects of the disease.” BCNA works to ensure that women with breast cancer and their loved ones receive the best information, treatment and care.
