Milliner Alyson Cooper and the mysterious Mr Bucket (pictured, with Keeva, chief taster for Whispering Bics dog treats) will be among the artisans at this Saturday’s Artists Market at Newport’s Substation. The former, trading as ‘Miss Alyson Millinery & Such’, says her hats are made from vintage and personalised patterns and are ideal for the Melbourne Cup, Oaks Day, weddings or any occasion. Mr Bucket is a T-shirt brand featuring its creator who usually, in public, has a bucket on his head. The T-shirts come in a bucket and are made and printed locally. Local and regional artists will be at the venue with their wares. Among them will be the creator of ‘Whispering Bics’ dog biscuits, Christine McDonald. The market is on the first Saturday of the month from 10am-4pm and features free entertainment.
