THE waiting list for public housing in the north-west metro region shrank by 110 in the September quarter compared with the same term last year.
The waiting list in September was 36,445, down by 495 from 36,940 in the June quarter.
There were 31 fewer people on the waiting list with the Footscray housing office of the state’s Department of Human Services.
