TOP-FLIGHT baseball returns to the west this weekend when the Melbourne Aces open their Australian Baseball League campaign in a three-game home series with the Adelaide Bite at a redeveloped Melbourne Ball Park in Laverton.
The two sides will go at it on Friday (7.35pm), Saturday (5.05pm) and Sunday (1.05pm).
The Aces played off in last year’s grand final series, losing to the Perth Heat in a series that went the distance.
They will be eager to go one better this time around under returning manager Phil Dale.
