One chance to catch cultural performance

Footscray Community Arts are proudly announcing an afternoon of arts and performance, hosting a one-off show, Between Islands.

On Sunday, May 7, Between Islands will explore the artists and ideas of the TarraWarra Biennial 2023: ua usiusi fa’ava’asavili.

Between Islands explores a key theme of the Biennial: the survival and transmission of knowledge outside Western culture.

Spectators can expect a new performance by Bhenji Ra and a conversation with three Biennial artists plus refreshments following the conclusion of the event.

Between Islands is a partnership between TarraWarra Museum of Art and Asia TOPA in association with Footscray Community Arts.

The TarraWarra Biennial 2023 is currently open until Sunday July 16 at the TarraWarra Museum of Art in Healesville.
