It’s (back) payday for western suburbs workers as Fair Work hits tardy bosses

Western suburbs workers have been back-paid $174,300 after intervention by the Fair Work Ombudsman.

The highest amount — $82,200 — went to a clerical worker in Kingsville after he was underpaid the minimum hourly rate and penalty rates over six years.

Employers and employees seeking information and advice can visit fairwork.gov.au or call 13 13 94.
