WILLIAMSTOWN Wolves showed their willingness to fight till the end and reaped the rewards with a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Moorabbin Panthers in the Baseball Victoria summer league division 1.
Starting pitcher Josh Lee was outstanding on the hill, throwing a complete game.
The Wolves improved to 9-1 on the season.
Meanwhile, Melbourne Aces played out a thrilling series with the Canberra Cavalry in the nation’s capital, splitting the series 2-2.
After a fortnight on the road, the Aces face Perth Heat in a four-game series at the Melbourne Ball Park, on Friday (7.35pm), Saturday (3.05pm and 6.05pm) and Sunday (1.05pm).
