Western Bulldogs fans are in for a double treat this Saturday as part of the club’s popular annual family day.
Following the success of the event last year, the club will again be combining the family day with an intra-club practice match involving the 2016 playing group.
It will be one of the players’ first proper hit-outs ahead of the 2016 AFL season.
Gates for the family day will open at Victoria University Whitten Oval at 9am, with the match kicking off about 9.30am.
Food and activities will be available for young and old throughout the morning and players will sign autographs at the end of the “match”.
Key Western Bulldogs personnel and coaching staff will be on hand throughout the day. The event will conclude at 2pm.
Entry is by gold coin donation. A $50 inner sanctum “VIP experience” will be available for 100 supporters. It will include access to player-only areas and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with a selection of players.
