Buses replace trains between Footscray and Newport

Buses are replacing trains on the Williamstown and Werribee lines between Footscray and Newport after a train hit a car at Spotswood this morning.

Fire crews attended the scene at the Hudson Road level crossing about 6.45am.

No one was injured.

Commuters should allow extra time for their journey.
