Locals should avoiding swimming at Altona, Williamstown

Locals should avoid swimming in Altona and Williamstown beaches due to the pollution swept into the water from yesterday’s storms.

Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) has registered the water quality in both beaches as poor, and not suitable for swimming.

The EPA advises that people should not swim for at least 48 hours after it has been raining.
