Garden mazes, a rock stream and even a pirate ship are all adding to the fun at Saltwater Childcare Centre.
A playground redevelopment, funded by Maribynong council, began last year when a landscape architect drew up plans to develop a more natural and interesting environment for the children at the not-for-profit Footscray centre.
Works were completed earlier this year and the playground was officially launched last Thursday with a special morning tea.
Saltwater Childcare Centre cares for up to 46 children a day, aged from six months to five years.
