Police arrest 44-year-old man following alleged vehicle damage

Police have arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly caused significant damage to more than 30 vehicles in the Williamstown area.

According to an Eyewatch – Hobsons Bay Police Service Area spokesperson, police arrested the man on Friday, May 20.

“The male is expected to be charged with 33 counts of criminal damage, being damage caused to personal property of local residents,” the spokesperson said.

“Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident.”
