Seddon car fire arrests

Police arrested two people after a car was allegedly set alight in Seddon on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services responded to reports of a car ablaze on Walter Street about 5.30pm 19 January.

No one was inside the car at the time of the fire.

A 23-year-old Thomastown woman was arrested on Nicholson Street about 5.55pm and a 22-year-old man from Hoppers Crossing was arrested in Albert Street shortly after.

Both were interviewed and then released pending further inquires.
