Police are appealing for information after three rings were stolen during a burglary in Newport earlier this month.
It is believed the Newport property was broken into sometime between January 1 and January11, when the owner was not home.
Upon returning, the owner discovered a number of missing items such as tools, electronics and collectable figurines.
Engagement and wedding rings belonging to the owner’s late wife were also missing.
The three rings hold great sentimental value and two have “the luckiest” engraved in them.
Police have released a photograph of the stolen rings in the hope someone may recognise them.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or file a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
