Hobsons Bay small business owners are encouraged to find strength in partnership as part of an upcoming networking workshop.

Newport local and small business marketing expert Ailsa Page will be facilitating the Westgate Referral Group workshop.

She said she will be proposing a buddy system, which aims to teach businesses how to network effectively to create lasting relationships.

“So many of us have been working from home for the past two years, it’s time to reconnect and tap into the incredibly supportive business community in Hobsons Bay,” Ms Page said.

“A lot has changed for business since COVID-19 lockdowns, and it’s time to reconnect with your local community.

“If you’ve just started a business post-lockdown or if you are an existing business owner that needs some motivation, this event will show you the right way to network so you can raise your awareness and start getting word of mouth referrals.”

The ‘Reboot Your Business Networking Action’ workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 15 from 5pm to 7pm at Seaview Williamstown.

The fee for the workshop is $20 and will include prizes, finger food, coffee and a copy of Ms Page’s book Shoestring Marketing Kit for Small Business.
