Turnbull was unstoppable, bagging six goals.
The Vikings managed only 10 goals, but the winter conditions and muddy ground turned the match into a low-scoring dogfight.

Yarraville-Seddon is relieved this week has come to an end.
The Eagles lost the bulk of their score from the previous round’s match after the WRFL tribunal ruled that they were guilty of fielding an extra player against Hoppers Crossing.
Veteran Clint Foreman was suspended for four matches in a charging incident stemming from the same game. Foreman will at least get the chance to have a farewell game in his retirement year, against his former club Albion in round 18.
To top off a bad week, the Eagles were beaten by St Albans by 35 points at Kings Park Reserve on Saturday.
In division 2, Parkside turned its local derby with West Footscray into the most lop-sided game of the round at Shorten Reserve. The miserly Magpies kept the Roosters to just one goal and kicked 25 of their own.
Laverton had a shocker, too, kicking just one goal in a 154-point thrashing from Wyndhamvale.
