With the match in their control, the Bulldogs finished it off in the last quarter to get a 13.18 (96)-6.6 (42) win.
Josh Bruce in his second game back from a serious knee injury kicked 4.5 to push his case for a recall to the senior side.

Coming off their second win of the season, the Seagulls led at quarter time by seven points, having had two more scoring shots than the Giants.
Three goals to two in the second quarter gave the Giants a two point lead at the main break.
The Giants opened up a bit of lead in the third quarter with four goals to two and led by 23 points early in the last quarter.
The Seagulls had plenty of ball in their front half early in the last quarter, but hadn’t been able to convert.
They were able to reduce the margin to 13 points late in the final quarter, but ran out of time, losing 11.16 (82)-9.10 (64).
Liam Conway was the only multiple goal kicker for the Seagulls with two goals.
Nick Mellington had 27 possessions, while Liam Hunt had 25 possessions.
The Seagulls remain second bottom with two wins.
Both the Bulldogs and Williamstown have byes.
In the AFL, the Western Bulldogs were beaten by Sydney on Friday night, 17.18 (120)-9.13 (67).
The win loss has the Bulldogs sitting in 10th spot after 16 rounds.
