Monique Conti has won the 2025 Richmond AFLW best and fairest, after yet another standout season in the yellow and black.
It’s her seventh Richmond Best and Fairest medal, and her eighth club best and fairest award in a row having won the Western Bulldogs award in 2019.
The former Maribyrnong Sports Academy student played in all 12 games this season and led from the front.

A week later, at IKON Park, she would go on to record a career-high 12 tackles against the Western Bulldogs, also notching up 21 touches and five clearances, in her 75th AFLW game.
As the week’s piled on, the five-time All-Australian would collect 30 disposals against Essendon, 33 against Melbourne, 26 against Geelong and a season-high 34 touches in Richmond’s round win win over Adelaide.
Between rounds nine to 12, Conti recorded, 30, 23, 29 and 20 disposals, finishing out another strong personal year.
The midfield jet was also named in the 2025 AFLW All-Australian squad.
She adds her seventh club best and fairest to her long list of accolades, which includes five All-Australians, AFLW Players’ MVP (season seven), AFLW league best and fairest in 2023 and Richmond life membership.
Ellie McKenzie finished second in the best and fairest count, with Libby Graham in third place. Graham was also named the best defensive player for the season.
