North Footscray has added a former AFL player to its playing and coaching stocks for the Western Football League division 2 season.
The Devils, who finished runners-up last year, announced the signing of Lynden Dunn for the 2026 season.
Dunn played 198 AFL games with Melbourne and Collingwood after being drafted in 2004.
He is a life member at Melbourne and he currently manages Collingwood’s father-son and community pathway programs.
On the Devils social media, it said Dunn would be involved in the club on and off the field.
“Dunny brings an enormous amount of knowledge and experience across all levels of football, along with a genuine passion for developing young players and giving back to grassroots footy,” the Devils said.
“In addition to pulling on the red and white at 2pm on a Saturday, Lynden has also accepted the role of director of coaching. In this role, he will work closely with our coaching staff to help develop not only our players, but our growing football program as a whole.
“Join us in welcoming Dunny and his family to the club — a massive addition to our football program and community.”
Since retiring from AFL, Dunn played with West Coburg in the Essendon District Football League and more recently was player-coach at Caulfield in the Southern Football League.
Dunn joins Nicholas Papakalodoukas and Abdi Fitaax as new signings announced by the Devils.
Papakalodoukas joins the club from Tullamarine, while Fitaax joins from West Coburg, where he played with Dunn.
Robbie Hudson will coach the side this season, taking over from David Battistella who stood down at the end of last season.
