A HELPING hand has come at just the right time for Maribyrnong parents Raja and Khalil.
Battling severe disabilities and struggling to raise three children (including Karim and Alex, pictured), they were at a loss when their washing machine broke down.
But MacKillop Family Services and a Maribyrnong electrical retailer stepped in and helped out with a new machine.
A shop spokesman said the store was more than happy to do whatever it could to make the family’s lives a little easier.
“We have been supporting MacKillop Family Services for three years through its Local Giving Program.”
