Smoke billowed over Wyndham on Tuesday afternoon after a large blaze at the Spotlight factory in Laverton North.
It is believed the fire started after a stack of pallets caught fire.
Firefighters were called to the Boundary Road factory about 2pm, with 20 trucks attending.
The fire was brought under control about 3pm.
The MFB issued an advice message for residents of Laverton North, Sunshine West and Derrimut, urging them to monitor the conditions.
