POLICE have been called in after firefighters discovered a marijuana crop while fighting a blaze in Altona Meadows.
Fire crews discovered the hydroponic set up when called to a fire at the home in Tyrell Court just after noon.
It is believed the crop was being cultivated throughout the house.
Police are waiting for the home to be declared safe before entering the premises.
